On the Applications page, you can create, edit and delete applications that belong to an account.
Applications are sub-divisions of an account, like department, functionality set in an application, etc.
Individual resources are then directly attributed to the application.
Users can only view applications that they have permissions for.
Click on Applications in the main menu:
Click on the plus icon:
A modal will pop up, select the account that you want the application to belong to, and give you applications a name, then click the Create button:
Your new application now appears in the application list:
Click on the edit (pencil) icon for the application.
A modal will appear, where you can change the account it belongs to, or the actual application name. This will not affect any users or resources already assigned to it:
You cannot delete an application if any resources or users have roles are assigned to it. This is a security feature, to prevent admins accidentally deleting user roles are resources that were assigned to the application.
Click on the delete (trashcan) icon for the application, a modal will appear, asking you if you want to proceed:
